Emily Heppen joined Finmarc in 2022 and is responsible for leasing in a portion of Finmarc’s office, retail, and flex portfolio throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Prior to joining Finmarc, Emily was a senior leasing representative with DLC Management Corp., where she was responsible for leasing 3 million sf of properties in MD and the Midwest and working with national tenants on multi-property leases. She also worked for Broad Street Realty as the Assistant Vice President of Leasing, handling the company’s owned properties and developments in the mid-Atlantic. Emily began her leasing career with Cushman & Wakefield’s Government Services Group, an agency leasing team dedicated to leasing space and build-to-suits for Federal Government tenants. Emily has a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University with a double major in English and Sociology and holds a Master’s of Science in Real Estate from American University – Kogod School of Business. Emily is on the Real Estate Council at American University, ICSC’s DC/MD/VA Next Generation Committee, ICSC’s Mid-Atlantic Planning Committee, NAIOP’s Real Estate Emerging Leaders Committee and an active member of ULI. For leasing activity in 2021, Emily was named a CoStar “Power Broker.”
